They hunted for food by archery, and that's important for Bunun people. The fathers trained their children by setting up an ear as the target and teach them to aim and to shoot the ear.

In Ancient Chinese culture they bring good luck and chase away evil spirits. They are annoying and because they only live at black spots which they think it's not good.

Pangolin is the one that impressed me the most. They can attack the ants' house even with lots of ants crawling on it. I won't want to touch it when I see lots of ants crawling all over.

Hi Gene,
Pangolin are not mean to attack ants. Those are their food which they need to survive in a natural environment. So next time when you see pangolin attacking an ant's house, try to think in this way.
