Submarine SMASH Day Reflection

As it was called "Submarine SMASH Day", we did something about the submarine. We had to make a periscope! We needed to make a periscope that when we were under water(the desk), we needed to know what's in the box(you can't see through it by looking at it, in order to see you need to stand up, therefore, we need a periscope). The supplies given were some papers, 2 pieces of cardboard, scissors, and tape.

Firstly, we decided to make a regular periscope(a tube, and mirrors in it). Then we couldn't make our angle of the mirrors right, which we could see nothing. We modified our design. We changed it into "a stick with mirrors". We had a stick made out of paper and cardboard, the mirrors taped at the end. We found out that we didn't need to worry about the angle and stuff, that's why we did it and our group members all agreed with it!

If you are also doing this, I suggest you having each person holding a stick with mirror. We had a stick with all our mirrors, which there could be only 1 person seeing what's inside. With many sticks like that, all group members can see together at different place and tell each other what they saw. That way, it would be more accurate and faster. Also, the group did this had win.
